Bournemouth

This weekend I went with my friend to sunny Bournemouth. This was booked before we knew what the weather would be like. It took us a little while to get there by car but it wasn't too bad. We made it in good time though. When we first got there we had a lovely little wander around the town.

Then we headed to the beach. The beach was pretty busy but we managed to find a spot and chilled out in the sunshine. I went in the sea because it was so hot. The sea was lovely and cool and it was just what I needed to cool down from the hot weather. I felt like I was on holiday.

It was a beautiful little mini break to get away and enjoy the sunshine, sit on the beach and swim in the sea. We had a lovely breakfast this morning at a cafe that we really felt like we had had a little mini holiday.

I know a lot of people flocked to Bournemouth for the day as well because it was a beautiful and sunny day but it really did feel like a little holiday.
