Mental health week

This week was mental health week, this is a subject that means a lot to me as I have suffered with depression in the past and suffer with anxiety. I think mental health is so important.


If you have never experienced mental health problems then it is very easy for someone to say not to worry and pull yourself together, but that isn't so easy if you do suffer from mental illness. The best thing you can do is listen and try to understand where that person is coming from without any judgement.


I found it very difficult when people would tell me it is over nothing what I was worried and anxious about but that was because they didn't understand.


Now more than ever, we need to not judge people and just be kind to one another. Always look out for one another. People may say they are fine but they may not want to be a burden to you. Let's all look out for one another and support each other.
